Accommodations

Throughout the event, delegations will be accommodated in residence facilities on campus at Western University which have been selected for their comfort, proximity to the competition venues, and quality of service. This unique experience of staying on campus also allows for shared spaces where athletes from different countries can interact with each other outside of the competition.

The conference and hospitality services team at Western University provide services tailored to the needs of athletes and officials, including catering, accessibility, and areas for rest and preparation.

Below, you will find detailed information about the accommodation facilities which rank among the best University residence facilities in the country.

Ontario Hall

Built in 2013, Ontario Hall is Western University’s newest residence on campus. During a typical school year, this building houses 988 students and feeds them on site with a dining hall located in the building. The residence features single and double style rooms, each including private washrooms and storage space. The building also features a fitness room, on-site laundry facilities, a wellness centre, study rooms as well as two music practice rooms. This building will house participating athletes during the championships.

London Hall

Located in the heart of campus of Western University, London Hall features 415 beds, in both two-bedroom and three-bedroom style suites. Built in 2006, this residence features a fitness room, a music practice room, as well as many study rooms and lounges. Dining hall is just a short walk from the building, making it easy and convenient for guests. This building will house officials during the championships.

For all spectators coming into London for the event, visit Tourism London’s website to explore local accommodation options. London offers a variety of accommodation options spread across the city at various price points, suited for any and all travelers.

Food

A catering service is provided to all accredited participants during the event. Meals will be served at Ontario Hall dining area, following a set schedule and will include breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Vegetarian options or meals adapted to specific dietary needs can be arranged upon request. Please notify Micheal Zaigh at mzaigh2@uwo.ca in advance regarding any allergies or dietary restrictions.

Please note that drinking water is available at residence and the venue throughout the competition.
