This section provides details about the financial responsibilities of each delegation participating in the 2026 FISU World University Championship in Rowing. All delegations are expected to comply with the conditions below and respect the official payment deadlines defined by FISU and the Organizing Committee.

Fees

All delegations taking part in a FISU World University Championship are required to pay two types of fees:

1. Participation Fee
To be paid to the Organizing Committee. This fee covers accommodation, meals, local transport, and event services during the official competition period.

€80 per person, per night
Applies to all accredited members of the delegation (athletes, coaches, officials, etc.).

Payment Schedule (based on FISU Team Sports protocol):

  • Team deposits are collected by FISU and due 5 months before the event
  • Remaining 50% is paid to the OC and due 1 month before the event (with Individual Entry)
  • Extra nights before or after the official dates may be charged separately. Contact the OC for confirmation.

OC Bank Details

  • Delegations will be invoiced by Western University prior to the 3 month deadline. Bank information will be provided as an addendum to that invoice.

2. FISU Entry Fee
To be paid to FISU.

20€ per participant for Member Associations
40€ per participant for Non-Member Associations

The final delegation composition is confirmed during the last stage of the accreditation process by the FISU CIC Delegate, with the HoD signing an invoice that confirms the delegation size. A copy of this invoice is retained by the NUSF. This FISU Fee is not paid on-site but invoiced to each participating NUSF along with other annual Championship fees.

Other Notes

  • Bank Charges: All bank transfer fees must be covered by the delegations.
  • Cancellation Policy: Late cancellations or modifications in the delegation composition may result in penalties or loss of deposits as defined in the cancellation policy.
  • Travel Costs: Each country is responsible for covering the cost of travel for its delegation to and from the nearest official point of entry (airport or other), approved by the FISU Championships Department.

The following cancellation policy applies to all delegations, athletes, and officials participating in the 2026 FISU World University Championship in Rowing. It’s purpose is to ensure smooth organization and minimize logistical and financial disruptions in case of withdrawal. Please read the terms carefully. All cancellations or changes must be communicated in writing to FISU2026@uwo.ca.
