London, Ontario, Canada is preparing to welcome student-athletes, teams, and supporters from around the world for the 2026 FISU World University Championships Rowing this summer.

Taking place August 13–15, 2026 at Fanshawe Lake in Fanshawe Conservation Area, the event will bring three days of international university rowing to one of London’s most scenic sport venues. Alongside the competition, we welcome visitors to take the opportunity to explore the host city and make the most of their time in London.

Between races, teams and supporters can visit local destinations like Covent Garden Market, enjoy London’s downtown patios and restaurants, explore nearby parks and trails, and take in family-friendly attractions throughout the city. From markets and outdoor spaces to food, shopping, and summer activities, London offers plenty to experience beyond FISU Rowing 2026.

Visitors can also explore visitor information, local attractions, accommodations, and hotel details through Tourism London, including available discounted hotel rates for those travelling for the championship.

Whether travelling to support an athlete, cheer on a team, or experience international university sport, visitors can take in both the racing and the city during the 2026 FISU World University Championships Rowing.

Come for the rowing. Stay for the city.
